A significant portion of our business - including 94 percent of our Environmental & Infrastructure Group's backlog - comes from the U.S. government. Some of that work is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

As a recognized leader in emergency response and recovery services, Shaw assisted at a moment’s notice following hurricanes Katrina and Rita, which hit Louisiana in 2005.
Inner Harbor Navigation Canal
Shaw designed and is constructing a surge barrier wall to provide hurricane-level protection for the greater New Orleans area. It is the largest design-build project ever awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility
Shaw AREVA MOX Services LLC is designing and constructing this first-of-a-kind facility at the U.S. Department of Energy's Savannah River Site in an important nonproliferation project.
