Umm Shaif Gas Injection Project
Shaw’s expertise in the oil and gas field helps maximize and enhance operations and production for our clients worldwide. As program management consultant for the Umm Shaif Gas Injection project, Shaw will help to enhance oil production from the Umm Shaif Field by an average of 50,000 barrels per day. The project comprises the development of facilities capable of dehydrating and injecting 600 million cubic feet a day of sour gas into the Arab C and D reservoirs.
Additionally, the new facilities will include a new collector/separation platform that will be able to handle 305,000 standard barrels per day of oil, 1,000 million standard cubic feet per day of associated gas and 125,000 barrels per day of produced water for disposal into an offshore aquifer.
Part of Shaw’s duties as program management consultant include monitoring the progress and control performance of the front-end engineering and design contractor and ensuring that engineering and design data meet the minimum health, safety and environmental requirements of ADMA-OPCO.
Shaw also is overseeing the design, construction and commissioning of offshore facilities including new platforms and associated pipelines and bridges, in addition to major modifications to three existing gas wellhead towers in the Umm Shaif Field.
